Actress Nargis Fakhri has reportedly left the Indian film industry and the reason behind this is her rumoured boyfriend Uday Chopra. Apparently, Uday called off his marriage with Nargis, which led to the actress leaving the country.
Uday and Nargis were rumoured to be dating, and the "Azhar" actress had planned to announce her wedding plans as well. But Uday's denial came as a big shock to the actress, who suffered a major nervous breakdown, DNA reported.
A source told the leading daily that Nargis left "Azhar" and "Housefull 3" promotions midway and left for New York overnight. Her third film "Banjo," starring Riteish Deshmukh, is also facing issues as the makers have not completed the shooting of the film.
"The Azhar team was stumped when Nargis told them she was suffering from an injury and couldn't promote the film. But a friend of the actress says that she has had a nervous breakdown and she had packed her bags and left for her hometown (New York City)! She told her close friends that she was not in the state of mind to work and needed to get out of the country. She also told the producers of 'Banjo' that she would adjust the dates and will shoot when she's back. With 97 per cent of the film complete and just some patchwork left, the producers are scratching their heads about what to do," DNA quoted a source as saying.
Nargis informed people that she needs a month or two to recover. Uday had proposed to her earlier, but that time she wanted to focus on her career. However, now she wants to get hitched and Uday refused. Nargis had a huge fight with the "Dhoom" actor, suffered a nervous breakdown and left for New York, DNA quoted an insider as saying.
"I don't think she wants to return and will pursue some other career in the US," a source close to the actress revealed.
