Adding to the already maddening summer start, Feige is dropping abundant hints about the Avengers: Infinity War. First, he revealed that the Avengers and the Guardians will meet in the space, and now it looks like the Marvel head is hinting that Avengers and the Guardians will have a face-off in the Infinity War movie.
Taking a cue from the Captain America: Civil War that drove fans crazy as they were confused to take sides, it looks like Marvel is going to replicate superheroes fighting against each other in Avengers: Infinity War.
Speaking to Fandango, Feige repeated his previous statement hinting that there will be a rivalry between Avengers and Guardians. "The offscreen, on-screen banter is not too dissimilar from one another," Feige joked.
But when he was asked if the rivalry would result in a battle, the Marvel head teased the possibility. "All things are possible...," he hinted with a laugh.
Wow, like taking Captain America or Iron Man's side was not enough, now we'll have to watch the second round of superhero fights taking place.
Feige went on to talk about the Avengers sequel stating, "It's more exciting than people are aware of right now, with what's happening. We're doing things you've never seen before with films based on comics."
He confirmed that Infinity War is into its 35th day of shoot and the cast and crew is deep into the shooting. "On most movies you're almost halfway there after 35 days, but on these movies we're still just scratching the surface. We'll be filming through the end of the year," he said.
Oh we cannot wait to watch the movie!
For now, the studio is unwrapping Guardians of the Galaxy that is releasing on May 5 in the US, China and India followed by packing Thor: Ragnarok that is scheduled to release in November 3 before fans jump into Avengers: Infinity War.
