Marvel fans across the globe may get a big surprise with the release of "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" on 1 May as the film might include a bit more fan favourite superheroes, such as Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel, in the cast list.
Both the characters have their solo movies in the pipeline and there is buzz that they will give a glimpse of their roles through the next sequel of "Marvel's The Avengers".
While Doctor Stephen Vincent could be a sure shot character to have cameo role in the upcoming instalment of Marvel Cinematic Universe, Carol Danvers is also speculated to appear in the movie.
During an interview with Marvel Entertainment, director Joss Whedon teased that viewers can expect to see Marvel characters who have not been in the preview photos.
Earlier, Whedon had talked about four female characters in the movie. "There will be four prominent female roles in the centre of the movie and they have more balanced presence throughout the film," he told Hey U Guys.
However, only the names of three characters -- S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill, Black Widow and Scarlet Witch -- are confirmed. So the fourth one could probably be Captain Marvel, who may put on her costumes towards the end of the movie.
Meanwhile, first trailer of "Avenger 2" indicates a presence of Benedict Cumberbatch's character in the film as it shows surgical equipment and gurney, according to Inquisitr.
At the same time, there is buzz that Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym, Agent Phil Coulson and T'Challa, a.k.a. Black Panther also have cameo roles in "Avengers: Age Of Ultron".
