"Avatar 2" is scheduled to be released only in 2017, and fans have been waiting to hear what the sequel of the very popular hit sci-fi will be all about. Though details have been kept under wraps, plot rumours do the rounds on the Internet.
The latest spoiler comes from none other than the "Guardians Of The Galaxy" star, Zoe Saldana, who has apparently already seen the plot of "Avatar 2". In an interview with MTV (via Franchise Herald), the actress revealed that she has had a glimpse of what the sequel holds and teased that it will be more emotional in comparison to its previous instalment.
"It was wonderful. Jim took us and gave us a tour of all the reference pictures, telling us the stories. I haven't been able to read the scripts. They're still working on them. We kind of get choked up. Cameron gets emotional telling us about the story. I get emotional hearing about it, so I'm looking forward to it," Zoe said.
Meanwhile, Crossmap has reported that the Avatar sequels are now in the making and that James Cameron has revealed the technique he is using in the upcoming "Avatar" 2, 3 and 4 movies.
Also, the "Titanic" director has started working on the script for the "Avatar" sequels. Interestingly, the report pointed out that Cameron is not working with just one screenwriter, but a whole team of writers.
According to the report, Cameron is using a virtual camera tracking system, which is available in SolidTrack, a real-time, markless camera from a company called Solid Anim.
Apparently, the technique has been used in yet another upcoming film, "Alice in Wonderland: Through The Looking Glass".
The report further stated that the camera provides additional flexibility to filmmakers, who can do away with the hassle of setting up greenscreens.
Well, it looks like "Avatar" fans will now be happy with the production update.
20th Century Fox's "Avatar 2" will release in December 2017. "Avatar 3" and "Avatar 4" are expected to be released in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
