Aval Biryani
Ingredients
Beaten Rice - 150 gms
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Onion - 2 thinly sliced
Green chilli - 1
Beans - 100 gms
Carrot - 100 gms
Peas - 50 gms
Ginger & garlic paste - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
Tomato - 1
Water - 1 cup
Coconut Milk - 2 tbsp
A few Coriander leaves
A few Mint leaves
Method
1. In a pan add Ghee & oil, Saute the Onion & Green chilli.
2. Once Onion get transparent, add Beans, Carrot, Peas, Ginger & garlic paste, Tomatoes and saute the vegetables.
3. Add Salt, Chilli powder & Garam Masala powder, gently mix it to the vegetables.
4. Close it let it cook for about 5 to 10 minutes.
5. Wash the Beaten Rice just before adding it.
6. Add Beaten Rice, water, coconut milk, A few Coriander leaves & A few Mint leaves, mix it.
7. Add Cook it till all the water absorbs & beaten rice cooked.
