Malayalam TV serial actor Sarath Kumar, who made his acting debut with "Krishnakrupa Sagaram", died in a road accident after his bike collided with a tipper lorry on Thursday, 26 February. He was 23.
The mishap took place at 7 am on Thursday at Mylakkadu near Parippally, while the actor was going to Kollam for shooting.
He breathed his last while he was being taken to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.
He is survived by his father Sashikumar, mother Thankachi and younger brother Sreekumar.
Sarath became a familiar face in Malayalam mini screens for his role in the popular serial "Autograph" (Rahul Krishna). He has also acted in "Swami Ayyappan", "Veera Marthanda Varma" and "Indira".
Malayalam actor Kunchacko Boban, Suraj Venjaramoodu, actress Asha Sharath, Aswathy, Shalin and many others have expressed their condolences.
