Suzuki Motorcycle, a subsidiary of two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki Motor Japan, unveiled the new Gixxer and Access 125 range at the 13th edition of the Auto Expo in Delhi.
While the Gixxer comes with rear disc brakes in new avatar, new Access 125 gets front disc brakes and alloy wheels.
Access 125
Powered by the same 124 cc four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which can pump out a power of 8.58hp @7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.8 Nm @5,000 rpm, the new Access 125 features 3D emblem logo and optional front disc brake and alloy wheels. The new Access comes in five colour options: Grey, black, Red, White and blue.
The scooter's front and rear tyres measure 90/100-10 with telescopic front fork. In terms of dimensions, the Suzuki Access measures 1,780 mm in length, 650 mm in width, and 1,125 mm in height and comes with a wheelbase of 1,250 mm.
Access 125 competes with the Honda Activa 125, Honda Aviator and Mahindra Rodeo RZ in Indian two-wheeler market. The new Access 125 will be available from April 2016.
Suzuki Gixxer with rear disc brake
Suzuki's Gixxer 155 is now available with rear disc brake. Powered by 154.9 cc four-stroke single cylinder air cooled engine, which can pump power of 14.8 PS @ 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 14 Nm @ 6,000 rpm, the bike is now also available in green and black dual tone colour in addition to the existing colour option.
Suzuki Gixxer SF FI
Gixxer SF, a street sportbike with stylish design powered by the same 154.9cc, single-cylinder engine, now gets fuel injection technology. The engine is tuned to churn out maximum power output of 14.6bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 14Nm at 6,000rpm.
Seated on a wheelbase of 1,330 mm, Suzuki Gixxer SF measures 2,050 mm in length, 785 mm in width and 1,035 mm in height. The bike has a kerb weight of 139kg. Gixxer SF is now also available with red and black dual tone colour in addition to the existing Metallic Triton Blue, Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Mirage White colour options.
