Mahindra Two Wheelers used the Auto Expo 2016 to unveil two concepts based on its flagship Mojo motorcycle. The Mojo scrambler concept is a stripped down version of the regular Mojo motorcycle featuring exposed frame, dual exhaust tips mounted on either side of the bike and heavy duty wheels.
The motorcycle concept also features brown leather seat, narrow twin LED taillights and red coloured brake calipers. The new handle bar comes with inversely mounted rear view mirror. The headlamp and Instrument cluster is also different in comparison to the regular model.
The adventure tourer concept is more of off-road kind of version. Mahindra increased the bike's ride height, adding a floating front mud guard and provisions for storing more luggage. True to off-road segment of motorcycles, the Mojo adventure tourer concept features long travel suspension, spoke wheels, off-road tyres, projector headlamps and knuckle guards.
The technical specification for both the concepts has not been revealed. Mahindra official confirmed its plans to bring the production version of the concept towards the end of 2016 in the media briefing.
Along with the new concepts unveils, Mahindra Two Wheelers also launched Mojo Tribe, a club for the owners of the Mojo motorcycle. The riding group is designed to promote motorcycle riding and the company released a theme song for the group. The company has also showcased custom painted Mojo bikes draped in White and Copper, Matte Red and Black, and Matte Yellow and Black.
