NEW DELHI -- Italian auto major Fiat brought its three new offerings -- Punto Pure, Urban Cross and Linea 125S -- to the ongoing Auto Expo 2016.
While Fiat Linea 125S will be launched in the Indian auto market by mid-2016, the Urban Cross is expected to begin its journey in Q3 of 2016. The third offering -- Punto Pure, which made its debut at the auto show on 4 February -- will hit the roads soon.
Under the bonnet of Punto Pure are both petrol and diesel engines. While the 1.4 litre diesel can dish out power of 75bhp of power @4,000rpm and 197Nm of peak torque @1750rpm, the 1.2 litre petrol mill is tuned to churn out 67bhp of power @6,000rpm and 96Nm of torque @2,500rpm. The transmission is handled by 5-speed manual gearbox in both petrol and diesel models. The Punto Pure is offered only in Red colour. The car features 15-inch alloy wheels, follow-me-home headlamps and blade wiper. Fiat Punto Pure has been priced at Rs 4.49 lakh.
Meanwhile, Fiat Avventura Urban Cross is powered by 1.4Tjet petrol engine that is tuned to belt out 140bhp of power and 210Nm of torque. It measures 3,989mm in length, 1,706mm in width and 1,542mm in height. It gets newly-styled front and rear fascia with new front grille, side mouldings, roof rack with LED lighting and 17-inch alloys. Inside the cabin, Urban Cross features 5-inch touchscreen display with audio navigation and dual-tone dash board.
On the other hand, Fiat Linea 125S gets 1.4 litre petrol engine under the hood and comes with a host of features like 5-inch touchscreen system with audio navigation, soft touch instrument panel, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, passenger and side airbags, and 16-inch alloys.
