The Auto Expo is a biennial automotive show held in Gearter Noida near Delhi, and is Asia's largest motor show in terms of number of people visiting. In its 13th edition, its organisers, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), is expecting a daily average footfall of 1 lakh.
Approximately 85 launches are expected for this year's show, in which close to 20 launches will be global unveiling of vehicles, reports Economic Times. The number of launches is nearly twice of 2012, which was the last edition held at Pragati Maidan in Delhi before moving to Greater Noida.
Auto Expo 2016 will see the debut of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza compact SUV, Maruti Suzuki Ignis compact SUV, Renault Kwid 1.0-litre engine and AMT, Renault Duster facelift, Honda BR-V SUV, Jaguar XE sedan, Hyundai Tucson SUV, Tata Zica based compact sedan, Volkswagen's India-spec compact sedan and Volkswagen Tiguan SUV.
Among motorcycle, UM Motorcycles has confirmed its entry to India with the launch of the Commando Renegade at the show. BMW-TVS motorcycles, TVS Apache 200 and a host of concept bikes are also expected this year.

The Auto Expo 2016 has been scheduled from 5 February (Friday) to 9 February (Tuesday).
