German luxury car maker Audi pulled the wraps off R8 V10 Plus in India at the 13th edition of the Auto Expo 2016 in the presence of cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood star Alia Bhatt in Delhi.
Priced at Rs 2.47 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi), Audi R8 V10 Plus is powered by a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 engine that can churn out 610bhp of power and can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 330kmph.The engine comes mated to a 7-speed S-tronic gearbox. The car gets three automatic modes and optional manual control.
The new Audi R8 V10 Plus measures 4.42 meters in length, 1.94 meters in width. It features LED headlights with Audi laser technology. Inside the cabin, the R8 V10 Plus features driver-focused cockpit, Audi virtual cockpit and MMI navigation plus with MMI touch. Audi virtual cockpit comes with digital display. With the drive-oriented cockpit design, driver can operate all functions with the multifunction push-buttons without having to take their hands off the steering wheel.
The feature list also includes bucket seats, R8 steering wheel with 4 operating satellites, deluxe climate control and reversing camera. On the safety front, the R8 V10 Plus packs eight airbags, Electronic Stabilisation control (ESC) and Tire Pressure Loss Indicator.
