A video showing the moment a car was showered with red wine after the bottles being carried on the vehicles roof exploded has gone viral over social media. The dashcam footage, filmed by Bonnie Riach in Australia, shows the car travelling along a road when it suddenly hits a bump, causing the container of wine bottles to explode. In a scene reminiscent of a horror film, gallons of red liquid can be seen cascading down the cars window before Riach turns the windscreen wipers on to clear her vision.
Riach was transporting the bottles as part of her job at the Bilbaringa Wines vineyard in Adelaide, South Australia. She uploaded the video to Facebook and YouTube, stating, Wine and driving doesnt [sic] mix. Since being posted on Facebook, the video has been viewed more than 80,000 times.
