Australia attacker shouted Allahu Akbar before stabbing backpacker Mia Ayliffe-Chung to death
A 21-year-old British woman was killed and a 30-year-old British man critically injured, after being stabbed by a French man at a backpacker’s hostel, on August 23. During a press conference on 24 August, he said that the attacker, a French national, has shouted allahu akbar during the attack and when arrested.
