Bill board wars are not new among carmakers. We have seen BMW and Audi pulling each other with creative bill board in the past. With the EV space in boom and Tesla being the messiah for the segment, Audi took a dig at Elon Musk's car company in new billboard.

The German carmaker chose to place the words "Musk-Have" for a billboard that advertises its upcoming electric e-tron Sportback. Audi advertisement intends to says the e-Tron Sportsback is a must have EV while clever use of 'Musk-Have' has been applauded on social media for its sheer creativity.
The Audi e-Tron Sportsback is still far away. The production version of the e-Tron Spotsback is expected only in 2019. Hence, the advertisement intends at a head up for Tesla on the arrival of Audi's EV range. How will the Tesla and Elon Musk respond to this remain to be seen.
For uninitiated, e-tron Sportback concept was showcased at the Auto Shanghai in April. The e-Tron Sportback packs one electric motor on the front axle and two on the rear to power all four wheels, and can churn out 496bhp. The concept can sprint from 0 to 100kmph in just 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 210kmph.
Tesla's Model X has a range of 295mph. However, the e-tron Sportback will be the rival for Tesla Model Y. The Model Y is the electric compact SUV under development. Model Y will be positioned above Model 3 and below Model X. Model Y will get an updated electrical architecture that will support full autonomous driving capability. It is also expected with eight cameras for 360 degrees view as well as 12 ultrasonic sensors. Interestingly, Model Y's debut is expected in 2019 in the same year when Audi e-Tron Sportsback will also enter market.
