The stage is set for the audio launch of Vijay-starrer "Theri." As per the buzz, the music will be launched March 20.
PR Nikkil Murugan has confirmed the news tweeting, "Source says #Theri audio launch on march-20th!! (sic)" The makers are expected to organise a grand event for the music release function of Vijay's much-awaited Tamil film.
Prior to the audio launch, a teaser of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's introduction song will be released. The song has been crooned by Deva and penned by Rokesh and it is believed that the number titled 'Jithu jilladi' will possibly be out next week.
Music director GV Prakash tweeted: "Thinking over a single soon #jithujilladi #GV50 #theri #jithujilladi mitta killadi mama daaladikkum colouru kannadi!!! Thoppiyila singatha paaren, tholula stara vaangum police u kaaran â¤ï¸ #GV50. (sic)" However, he is yet to wrap up the album.
Meanwhile, GV Prakash Kumar has roped in Simbu's father T Rajender to croon a special song. He posted, "And TR sir sings a semma kuthu song for #theri ... #therrrriiiiiiiii. (sic)"
"Theri" marks the 50th movie of GV Prakash as music director. As a result, he is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that "Theri" album becomes a big hit.
On the other hand, the teaser, which was released last month, has garnered over 93 lakh hits on YouTube and is heading towards the 1 crore mark.
"Theri" is an action-entertainer, written and directed by Atlee Kumar of "Raja Rani" fame and produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. Samantha and Amy Jackson are in the female leads in the flick, which will hit screens in April.
