The wait is over! The highly anticipated Audi A3 Cabriolet, the second iteration of A3 brand made its grand debut in India on Thursday with an attractive price tag of ₹44.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Indian auto enthusiasts have been drooling over this stylish machine of Audi since its first appearance at Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year.
Visually, Audi A3 Cabriolet, a soft- top version looks similar to its standard A3 sedan, but as just said with a soft-top automatic fabric roof.
The latest version of A3 will be brought to India as CBU (completely built units) and will be available in petrol engine option.
Coming to the engine specifications of Audi A3 Cabriolet, although in the international market the model is retailed with a smaller displacement as well as a larger capacity engines, in India, the sporty version of the car comes with 40TFSI 1.8-litre petrol motor that can generate a power of 180PS and a peak torque of 250Nm. The transmission is taken care by seven-speed S-tronic dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
As for the features, the new entrant from Audi's stable boasts bi-xenon headlamps with daytime running LEDs and LED tail lamps and the interiors too bear more than passing resemblance to its sibling, A3. There is a pop-out 7-inch infotainment system with Audi's MMI and a touch pad and also features dual-zone climate control and electrically adjustable front seats.
The bookings for the new 4-seater Audi A3 Cabriolet are open in the country.
