Defending Indian Super League champions Atletico de Kolkata and Chennaiyin FC kicked off ISL season 2 with much fireworks on 3 October, 2015. The two teams face again for the fourth and the final time this year on Wednesday, 16 December.
Chennaiyin FC lost both their games in the regular league season this year against Atletico, but they made sure the Kolkata side do not pick up a clean sheet in the games. A similar thing wasn't achieved by Antonio Habas' men in the ISL 2015 semi final.
Marco Materazzi's side outclassed ATK in every department in the first leg of the semi final in Pune by recording a massive 3-0 win, and they will be hoping for a similar result when they clash swords with the champions at Salt Lake Stadium today.
There is no doubt that Habas is under immense pressure going into the second leg encounter against the South Indian side today, but the Spanish coach has always believed in positivity. The winner of the 'Best Coach' of the ISL in the Indian Football Awards this September has urged the 12th man of the team -- the fans -- to give the backing to the side like never before.
Football fans from Kolkata have responded well to the clarion call from Habas, and have taken to Twitter to vent their feelings, prior to the match:
The fans of Chennaiyin FC are also not willing to back down under the immense positive messages posted by ATK fans on the social media platform.
