Even though Salman Khan is way past and done with the hyped SRK-Salman hatchet, his team hasn't buried it yet.
According to reports, " Hero" actress Athiya Shetty's love for Shah Rukh Khan has left Salman's team offended. The newbie, who is just learning the ways of the industry, was later made to correct the statement by tagging Salman as the 'ultimate star'.
However, the "Bigg Boss 9" host reportedly didn't have a problem with Athiya's choices.
"Salman had no problem with her naming SRK as her favourite. It is the people around him who've taken it upon themselves to take offence on his behalf," a source told senior journalist Subhash K Jha.
In other news, the actress said Shah Rukh was a real gentleman and showed her around the "Main Hoon Na" sets, years ago.
"They are all superstars. I remember meeting Shah Rukh Khan sir on the sets of 'Main Hoon Naa' and I am a huge fan of him. He is an amazing person. He showed me the entire set... Had a nice time... So it is a memory I will cherish," PTI quoted her as saying.
Athiya and her co-star Sooraj Pancholi are sure being backed by Salman, but they do have SRK's good wishes with them as well.
The superstar tweeted, "My love & best wishes to @theathiyashetty & @soorajpancholi9 for their upcoming release. Hero. Am sure u will make ur dads proud."
