The last few weeks have been really busy for the Indian mobile industry and things don't seem to be slowing down even as we approach end of the year. As the launch spree continues, Asus is joining the action and it has confirmed an event to launch its next smartphone, the Zenfone Max Pro M2, in India.
Asus India announced that the Zenfone Max Pro M2 will be launched in India on December 11 and that it will be exclusively available on Flipkart. As the tradition goes, Flipkart has a product landing page for the Zenfone Max Pro M2, giving a sneak peek into the phone's specs ahead of the official launch. In addition to that, Asus has a video teaser to confirm a few more details about the upcoming phone.
As per the official teasers, it is confirmed that Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will feature a notched display at last, a sturdy display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6, dual rear cameras and a shiny back. By the looks of it, the latest Zenfone smartphone is a significant upgrade over its predecessor, which makes it well worth the upgrade.
While Asus is trying to keep an element of surprise for the big day, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 has leaked in its full glory. WinFuture obtained detailed renders of the new handset as well as the key specifications that make the Zenfone Max Pro M2 appealing to the Indian audience.
If the leaked information is accurate, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 could feature a 6-inch Full HD+ display, 12MP+5MP dual sensors at the back, a massive 5,000mAh battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The glass sandwich design gives a premium look and feel to the phone.
The unrivalled champion of mid-range is ready to begin its dominance with the most durable screen in the segment - Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
