Asus has released two models of its Zenfone 3 – ZE552KL and ZE520KL – in Thailand. The handsets have already been listed online and are available for purchase.
The Taiwanese company announced three variants of the Zenfone family – the ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Ultra – at the Computex 2016 event in May. It revealed specifications and pricing of the devices but kept the release date under wraps.
Now, the Zenfone 3 ZE520KL is available in Thailand on Invadeit for THB 11,990 (about $345). It sports a 5.2-inch display with 1,920x1,080 display, powered by a 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow based ASUS ZenUI 3.0 operating system.
The device features a 32GB internal memory expandable up to 2TB via microSD card, a 3GB RAM, an Adreno 506 GPU, a 16MP main camera, an 8MP front-snapper, and a 2,650mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it supports Dual SIM card, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), and Bluetooth V 4.2.
The Asus Zenfone 3 ZE552KL model on the other hand is priced at THB 14,900 (about $425), sports a 5.5-inch FullHD Super IPS+ display with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density), powered by a 14nm FinFET process technology-based Snapdragon 625 SoC (System-on-Chip) processor, and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow based ASUS ZenUI 3.0 0 operating system.
It also features a 64GB internal memory expandable up to 2TB via microSD card, a 4GB RAM, an Adreno 506 GPU, a 16MP main camera, an 8MP front-snapper, and a 3,000mAh battery. The device also supports Dual SIM card, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), and Bluetooth V 4.2.
Meanwhile, Asus has confirmed that it will host the "Z3NVOLUTION" event on Aug. 17 in New Delhi, giving a clear hint that it will be release the Zenfone 3. It is not sure if the company will launch all the variants – Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra – but it is almost certain that it will announce the availability and price of one of these variants.
