The much-awaited Asus Zenfone 2 will be released in several countries in the next few weeks, a month after it was launched in China. It has already made its way in to European market and now set to hit Malaysia soon. It is confirmed.
There is no launch schedule as such but the Asus Zenfone 2 is expected to hit several Asian countries in the next few weeks. The device is expected to be launched in India on 13 April and then in Malaysia a week later.
According to a report by OIZOIOI, it is confirmed that the Asus Zenfone 2 will be launched in Malaysia on 21 April. It went on to say that all the three models - ZenFone 2 ZE500CL, ZenFone 2 ZE550ML, ZenFone 2 ZE551ML – will be released in the country.
Asus Zenfone 2 Specifications:
The Zenfone 2 comes in three variants - ZenFone 2 ZE500CL, ZenFone 2 ZE550ML and ZenFone 2 ZE551ML – each with different specifications and price range too.
The Asus ZenFone 2 ZE500CL is the cheapest of the three variants. It sports a 5.0-inch HD (1280x720p) IPS screen, powered by Atom Z2560 processor clocking at 1.6GHz and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It also have features like a 16GB internal memory expandable up to 64GB and 2GB RAM, 8MP main camera and 2MP front snapper, and 2500 mAh battery.
The Asus ZenFone 2 ZE550ML comes with bigger screen and a few other feature upgrades over the ZE500CL model. It sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280x720p) IPS screen, powered by Atom Quad Core Z3560 clocking at 1.8GHz and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It comes packed with 16GB internal memory expandable up to 64GB, 2GB RAM, 13MP main camera and 5MP front snapper, and 3000 mAh battery.
The Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) variant boasts of some good features and is available in 2GB and 4GB RAM. It has features like a 5.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density), Intel Atom Z3580 processor, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 16/32/64GB internal memory expandable up to another 64GB, 13 MP main camera with LED flash and 5 MP front snapper, and non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery.
