Summing up all the teasers surrounding its much-anticipated phone release, Asus finally announced on Wednesday that it will unveil the new device on 6 August.
For the past few weeks, Asus has been sending teasers to the media about its upcoming ZenFestival 2015. Along with the invitation for the 6 August event, the company's mail sent on Wednesday, 22 July, also mentions that Jonney Shih, chairman of ASUSTeK Computer Inc, will also attend the event.
With the ASUSTeK boss going to be present at the launch event, to be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, it is certainly going to be a grand one.
Although Asus is still tight-lipped about the specifications of the upcoming device, the handset is tipped to feature an ultimate design and photography experience.
The company has hinted at a device that will be similar to ZenFone Selfie, which was released at the Computex 2015 event.
ZenFone Selfie offers a decent build quality and is available in several colour options, including Chic Pink, Aqua Blue, Pure White, Glamour Red, Osmium Black and Sheer Gold.
In a previous teaser, Asus had hinted that the upcoming event "will showcase ultimate design, performance & photography experience". The company had also said that it will "soon bring a device which is perfect from inside & outside; complementing your style".
