Taiwanese consumer electronics major Asus has launched a new smartphone dubbed Live in Brazil. It is an entry-level handset and houses the same features as the 5.0-inch Zenfone Go (model no: ZC500TG).
Asus Live sports an HD (1290x720p) display and comes packed with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, 1.3GHz quad-core CPU with 3GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and a 2,070-mAh battery. It also comes shipped with 8MP camera on the rear with single-LED flash, and a 2MP snapper on the front.
Asus Live release and price details:
As of now, Asus Live is currently on sale in Brazil for 849 BRL (around $211/€193/Rs 14, 210). It is available in blue, pink and yellow. It is expected to be launched in other markets soon. Stay tuned for more updates.
In a related development, Asus is hosting an event in New Delhi to officially launch the much-awaited camera-centric flagship smartphone Zenfone Zoom in India.
It is the thinnest smartphone to boast 3X Optical Zoom feature. Other notable features include OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and 10-element lens that can add 12X digital zoom for finer close-up details. It also features the laser auto-focus technology for superfast focus (less than 0.03 second) and the proprietary PixelMaster v2.0 camera application.
