Taiwanese consumer electronics major Asus has launched a new 5.0-inch variant of the budget smartphone, the Zenfone Go. The new Asus phone (T500) is an advanced version of the original Zenfone Go (ZC500TG), which was launched in September 2015.
The new version comes packed with 64-bit class 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8916) 410 quad-core CPU, a 2500mAh battery and support 4G-LTE, while the older model houses a 1.3GHz MediaTek (MT6580) quad-core processor, a 2070mAh cell and a 3G modem. Rest of the specifications, such as camera, screen size, and display resolution remain the same.
Its 4G-LTE support will help users enjoy faster internet with up to 150mbps download and 50mbps upload speed.
As of now, the new Asus phone is available only on Amazon India and Snapdeal for Rs. 7,999. It comes in charcoal black and pearl white colour options.

Asus Zenfone Go is pitted against the popular Moto E (3rd Gen), Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime, YU Yuphoria and Coolpad Note 3 Lite smartphones.
