Taiwanese consumer electronics major Asus has launched another budget smartphone Zenfone Go (ZC451TG) in India.

We are elated to see the response that we received through the year for our ZenFone range of smartphones and are sure that our offering for the budget segment packed with features at an affordable price, will be appreciated by our users as well," said Peter Chang, Regional Head, South Asia & Country Manager of System Business Group at ASUS India.

The new Zenfone Go (ZC451TG) is a watered down version of the original ZC500TG, which was launched in September. The former model features 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480p) screen, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory, MediaTek quad-core processor (MT6580M), 1600 mAh battery, 8MP camera on the back and a VGA (0.3MP) snapper on the former.

Whereas the latter sports a bigger 5.0-inch HD (1280x720p) screen and houses 5.0-inch HD display and runs on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, powered by MediaTek processor with 2GB RAM and a 2070 mAh battery, 8MP primary camera at the back and a 2MP shooter at the front.

Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 price and availability details:

The company has confirmed that the new Zenfone Go 4.5 can be purchased on Flipkart 28 December onwards for Rs. 5,299 in Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Rouge Pink and Flash Blue colour options.

It will also be made available in Asus' exclusive stores and physical brick-and-mortar shops across India from the second week of January 2016.
