Asus Launches AsusPro Advanced BU401, BU201 Ultrabook Laptops in India: Price, Specifications

Unlike conventional laptop computers, ultrabooks are usually focused towards enterprise segment and features superior configuration and marathon battery in a comparatively compact footprint, for instance Apple Macbook Air.

Almost all Windows-based laptop-makers has its ultrabook series to cater to luxury-loving consumers. And to take on this, Asus has launched two ultrabook computers under its existing AsusPro Advanced Ultrabook series.

Dubbed AsusPro Advanced BU201 and BU401 Ultrabook, the series symbolises a subtle professional look, built for comfort and productivity.

Ultrabook series features the AsusPro Business Center, a simple, one-stop security and manageability solution specially designed for small businesses without a managed IT environment. With the Intel vPro processor offering better control over networked computing assets and fingerprint scanning, it takes data access authorisation and protection to a higher level. It offers better damage protection than standard notebooks, with an anti-shock drive, 20% higher panel-pressure resistance and spill-resistant back-lit keyboard without compromising on its slim and stylish design.

BU201 Ultrabook is light-weight and portable, weighing 1.27kg without compromising on performance or durability. The 180º hinge opens flat to provide a 360º view. Tested to exceed the demanding MIL-STD 810G military standard, it offers seamless functioning with the SensePoint pointstick that simulates the functions of a regular mouse. The anti-glare display has a matte screen surface that prevents unwanted reflections and helps reduce eye fatigue.

On the other hand, BU401 Ultrabook is a customised model, weighing 1.64kg with a 20mm profile and its light-weight belies the shock, drop and accident resistance the device offers. Such dexterity makes it ideal for business people on the go. It has a true-comfort keyboard, optimised touchpad and dark brushed-hairline matte finish, which gives it a professional look.

AsusPro BU201 and BU401 Ultrabooks are available at ₹85,999 and ₹89,499 respectively across retailers in India.
