Taiwanese PC maker, Asus has released the new Fonepad 8 series 3G voice-calling tablet in India.

"Our Fonepad series have constantly introduced widely accepted innovation and all the necessary functionality; which has been loved by all our users. This encourages us to go beyond the regular and deliver incredible," he added.
Under the hood, it comes packed with the 64-bit class Intel Atom quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and a 4000 mAh battery.

As of now, Fonepad 8 has been made available at online store Flipkart and also at company's exclusive Asus stores across India for ₹13,999 today onwards.

The new Asus tablet will be competing with the HP Slate 7, Samsung Tab 3, Dell Venue 8 (&7) tablet series, Digiflip Pro XT911 Tablet and others.
