Taiwanese PC maker Asus released a budget laptop, EeeBook X205, in India on 21 January.

The new Asus EeeBook sports 11.6-inch HD glare panel display and runs on the latest Windows 8.1 OS.
Under the hood, it comes packed with Intel Atom quad-core SoC (System on Chip), Intel HD graphics, 2GB RAM and a Polymer-based 38Whrs battery.

The company confirmed that ASUS EeeBook X205, priced at ₹14,999, will be available on Flipkart from 21 January, and in ASUS Exclusive Stores from February onwards.
