20th Century Fox recently released the first banner of its upcoming 2016 movie "Assassin's Creed", based on the eponymous video game series. Now, it seems the first trailer of the film is going to hit theatres and the Internet soon.
An image of a business card for Alan Rikkin was posted on the movie's Twitter account on Monday titled "12.21.16". The numbers in the picture probably hint to a certain element in the video games.

In the games, Rikkin is CEO of Abstergo Industries, a fictional organisation within the franchise. In another tweet, the franchise's content director, Azaïzia Aymar, wrote that fans should use their "eagle vision", which definitely hints to some clues or spoilers in the banner released.
Merry Christmas. Use your eagle vision guys! https://t.co/g8wOPtFq6W — Azaïzia Aymar (@AymarMtl) December 21, 2015
When the number on the visiting card is dialled, an automated voice says: "Hello, you've reached the voice-mail of Alan Rikkin. I'll be out of the office on business until March 25 with limited availability."
According to certain theories, the numbers on the card might reveal the launch date of the film's first trailer. March 25 is the premiere date of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", and there is a significant chance that the first trailer of "Assassin's Creed" will be showed during the premiere.
Even though it is just a speculation for now, it might turn into reality as Jeremy Irons, who is a part of the "Assassin's Creed" cast, also stars in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
There is no official confirmation regarding the trailer release date. However, in the meanwhile, fans can look at the Rikkin's card and search for any possible clues.
Michael Fassbender of "X-Men: First Class" will play the protagonist named Aguilar in the movie. Joining him are Marion Cotillard and Brendan Gleeson. The movie is scheduled to release on 21 December, 2016.
