Game developer Ubisoft has unleashed its first multiplayer downloadable content (DLC) for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag titled Blackbeard, on 10 December.
The new DLC will add three new characters such as the infamous and dreaded pirate Blackbeard, Templar The Jaguar and pirate queen The Orchid into the multiplayer game.
Players will be able to control Blackbeard whose aim is to throw his enemy off balance, usually in a single strike. Orchid makes use of her swords extensively being a master of the art, and she has earlier served as a military advisor to the Qing Dynasty in China. The Jaguar is an Aztec warrior, proficient in the use of axe in combat. He is a Templar and works with other Templars.
The DLC takes up 2.40MB of space and is priced $2.99 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It is free for Season Pass holders.
PC Update
Ubisoft has also released a new update for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag's PC version that will now fix issues regarding matchmaking, minor UIs.
The update will change the default zone size for multiplayer mode Artifact Assault from 5m to 6m. It will also fix the issue related with Double XP weekend that was affecting time.
