Amazon will be the only retailer to get an exclusive Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag Lethal Pirate Edition, Ubisoft announced. This edition will be focusing on one of Black Flag's infamous pirates, Black Bart.
Players buying this Edition will be eligible for a free pre-order bonus, Hidden Mystery Pack, which is inclusive of the Mystery Island mission, Stede Bonnet's ship, and an exclusive outfit. This Edition will also include digital wallpaper by comic artist Todd McFarlane, a custom-designed Black Bart figurine, exclusive in-game content where players will be able to customize Black Bart's ship allowing them to create terror among his enemies.
This game will be costing $69.99 and players will be shelling out $10 more than the usual edition, which costs, $59.99, reported Gamespot Asia. The Black Bart figurine is also available separately for $14.99.
The story is set in the Golden Age of Pirates in 1715 where a lawless republic was set up by pirates in Nassau. Players will get to control Edward Kenway who is grandfather of Connor, the protagonist in Assassin's Creed 3. The pirates get to attack enemy ships, plunder ships and uncover hidden treasures. Players can control Kenway's ship, Jackdaw and even add customisations to it. Apart from these, players get to explore about 50 different locations from Kingston to Nassau in the Caribbean.
Apart from the standard edition, there is the Special Edition that will contain unlockable in-game content (Recover Captain Drake's lost treasures, including golden flintlocks and cutlass when exploring the exotic island of Sacrifices, additional single and multiplayer item) and the game.
The Skull Edition will include a steelbook in the colours of the Golden Age of Piracy, artbook, official soundtrack of the game, two lithographs, two solo missions of 30 minutes gameplay and added single and multiplayer items.
Black Chest Edition will be inclusive of Edward Kenway's figurine, steelbook, collector's box, artbook, official soundtrack, pirates world map, two lithographs, Jackdaw's Black Flag, two canvas prints, three solo missions adding an extra 45 minutes of gameplay and added single and multiplayer items.
Buccaneer Edition will be inclusive of Edward Kenway's figurine, collector's box, artbook, official soundtrack, two lithographs, three solo missions adding an extra 45 minutes of gameplay and added single and multiplayer items.
The game will be out on Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Oct 29.
