A man allegedly killed his wife and daughter and committed suicide at Salbagan area of Bongaigaon in Assam on Thursday.
According to a report in Times of India, police suspects that Sanjoy Bose first killed his wife Rumpa and six-year-old daughter Pujur, following which he hanged himself from a ceiling fan.
The report further stated that bodies of the wife and daughter were found on a bed at their home, with blood coming out from the former's mouth.
According to neighbours, the family was going through a tough phase due to financial crisis but the exact reason for the deaths are yet to be known, the report stated.
