Asian Viewers Television Awards (AVTA) is back with its second edition. The Awards ceremony is an annual event, which honours the best of Asian Television, according to the official websites.
The award ceremony started last year and was held in London. Several Asian television personalities, including Indian TV celebrities attended the show.
Meanwhile, the organisers have now revealed the 2015 nominations list. Viewers can vote for their favourite channel, show, actors and other categories.
In the guidelines mentioned by the organisers, viewers can vote for their favourite nominees in the following categories:
News Channel of the Year; Reality Programme Of The Year; Music Channel Of The Year; URDU Channel of the Year; Punjabi Channel of the Year; Best Bengali Channel of the Year; Best of British; Best Soap of the Year; Best Male Actor of the Year; Best Female Actor of the Year; General Entertainment Channel of the Year: (the "Eleven categories") at The Asian Viewers Television Awards (the "programme").

The winners will be selected based on audiences' votes and the judging panel. The winner of the 2015 AVTA's will be declared on 3 October in London.

Meanwhile, Indian viewers have already started nominating their favourite stars, shows and channel. Several celebrities' fans, including Karan Patel, Divyanka Tripathi, Hina Khan and Karan Mehra among others, have already started promoting their favourite stars on Twitter.
