Shooting
Indian women's 25m Pistol team shot down a bronze for their country. Meanwhile, India's women's team for the 10m Air Rifle event finished at a disappointing sixth spot, after doing well in the qualifying rounds.
Swimming
India took sixth spot in the 4x200m men's Relay final.
Squash
Saurav Ghosal beat Malaysian Ong Beng Hee to assure himself a silver medal at least in the men's Singles category. Meanwhile, Dipika Pallikal, who was already assured of a bronze medal, lost to world no.1 Nicol David of Malaysia.
Tennis
Indian women were beaten 2-1 by Kazakhastan in the women's Team quarterfinals.
Volleyball
India lost in straingt games to Japan, in the Group A women's First Round match.
Final score: 25-6, 25-11, 25-12 in favour of Japan.
Wushu
Narender Grewal has assured himself a bronze medal at least, by beating Pakistan's Abdullah, to go into the semifinals of the men's 60kg category.
