After the debacle of Hrithik Roshan's "Mohenjo Daro," Ashutosh Gowariker is gearing up for his next movie. Reports suggest that the director's next film will be a thriller.
It has been reported that Ashutosh, who generally maintains a considerable time gap between his movies, is now ready to direct his next film after just a few months of the release of "Mohenjo Daro."
"Not many know that Ashutosh will be taking up a thriller that will be set abroad. It will go on the floors in the first half of 2017," Hindustan Times quoted a source as saying. However, the report did not mention anything about the star cast of the director's next movie.
There were reports that Ashutosh and Hrithik had a fallout for the box office failure of "Mohenjo Daro." It was reported that the duo blamed each other for the disaster and exchanged angry text messages. However, some other reports later rubbished the buzz and suggested that all is well between the director and the actor.
Some reports also had said that Ashutosh and Hrithik were planning to team up for another film. Now, it will be interesting to see if the film-maker is indeed planning a thriller and if Hrithik plays the lead in the movie.
Meanwhile, Hrithik is busy shooting for his upcoming movie "Kaabil." Directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan, "Kaabil" features also Yami Gautam. Slated to be released on Jan. 26, 2017, "Kaabil" is likely to have a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees."
