Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Saturday met Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on the sidelines of Asean summit.
"The bilaterals amidst the multilateral. Modi meets Premier Li Keqiang for his first engagement," Vikas Swarup, the external affairs ministry spokesman, tweeted.
Modi reached Kuala Lumpur on Saturday to attend the 13th Asean (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) summit.
The Prime Minister is on a four-day visit to Malaysia and Singapore.
He will return to India on 24 November night.
