Ever since Nayanthara began working with Arya in "Raja Rani", rumours are rife that the two are dating each other.
After Hansika and Simbu came out in the open about their relationship, it was expected that Arya and Nayanthara will follow suit.
But Nayanthara has slammed those rumours and declared that she will not fall in love any more. Nayanthara had a bitter breakup with Simbu, after which she fell in love with director-choreographer Prabhu Deva during the shooting of Vijay's "Villu." But her relationship with Prabhu too ended just before their marriage.
After a span of two years, Nayanthara is back in the Tamil film industry with four films in her kitty. The pretty actress is part of Ajith's "Arrambam", Udhayanidhi Stalin's "Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal", Arya's "Raja Rani" and Tamil-Telugu bilingual "Anamika".
Rumours surfaced about her alleged link-up with Arya and it gained momentum when a wedding card with the actors' names was doing the rounds in social media circles a few months ago. It was later clarified that the wedding card was part of a publicity stunt to promote their upcoming film "Raja Rani."
However, the Arya-Nayanthara dating rumours have failed to die down. It was expected that Arya and Nayanthara would go public about their relationship like Hansika-Simbu, who were also initially refuting speculations about their love affair.
Now, Nayanthara has clearly stated that she will not fall in love any more and will only concentrate on her films. "It is only now that I have started concentrating on my career. I am keeping myself busy with movies in Tamil and Telugu. I am not falling in love any more, it is not in my cards," she was quoted as saying by Indiaglitz.com.
Nayanthara, who was last seen in a song in "Ethir Neechal", will be playing the female lead in "Arrambam", which is expected to be her first release of this year.
