The stage is set for the launch of Arvind Swami and Trisha Krishnan's Sathuranga Vettai 2. Yes, the movie is ready to hit the floor on October 15 in Chennai.
The first schedule will last for 15 days, say reports. The makers have finalised the cast and crew of the film. They have signed Venkatesh to handle the cinematography department and Ashwin Vinayagamurthy will compose music for the Tamil flick. Radha Ravi, Nassar, Ponvannan, Sriman and others are in the supporting roles.
It is a sequel to 2014 hit film Sathuranga Vettai. The latest movie is directed by Nirmal Kumar of Salim fame, and produced by Manobala. H Vinoth, who had directed the first instalment, is contributing to the story, screenplay and dialogues for its sequel.
Sathuranga Vettai had dealt with scams in rural areas. The latest film will centre around high-profile criminals, who use technology to loot money from middle-class people.
Trisha bags a biggie
On the other hand, a big offer has reportedly come Trisha Krishnan's way. Well, the actress, who wishes to star in a powerful female-centric project, has been approached for the Tamil remake of Bollywood flick NH 10, which starred Anushka Sharma. However, it is not clear whether she has given her nod to act in the film.
Trisha is currently gearing up for the release of her next film Kodi, in which Dhanush plays the lead. She has recently signed Vikram-starrer Saamy 2, which is written and directed by Hari.
