Dozens of houses were washed away in Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh in the flood triggered by incessant rainfall over the past week.
At least 103 families were affected by the flood at Anpum and Loklung villages under Paglam circle in Lower Dibang Valley.
"A relief camp is being set up at Anpum School ground for the flood victims. Though the water level has receded but erosion is still continuing," PTI quoted Paglam circle officer Tatling Pertin as saying.
"Many villagers have been dismantling their dwelling houses for fear of being washed away by flood water," the circle officer added.
The Yomgo river is reportedly flowing above the danger mark because of the continuous rain for over a week now.
