Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Legend" is doing rocking business at the Andhra Pradesh/Nizam box office. [Read: "Legend" Four-day Collections in India and First Weekend Collections in US]
The film opened to fantastic response on the first day of its release earning ₹6.9 crore share. Although the film's collections dropped on the second day (29 March), it managed to sustain its momentum at the box office.
The Balakrishna starrer remained unaffected due to municipal elections on Sunday (30 March). "Legend" witnessed rise in numbers on the third day (30 March) compared to its second day. The film has minted ₹13.32 crore share in its first weekend at the AP/Nizam box office, reported Andhraboxoffice website.
The Balakrishna starrer has surpassed the opening weekend collections of Mahesh Babu's "1 Nenokkadaine," which raked in ₹12.40 crore share at the AP box office.
"Legend" is also doing good business in overseas markets. The film is faring exceptionally well in the United States. The high voltage action entertainer has grossed approximately ₹2.2 crore ( $370K from reported locations only) in four days including Thursday (27 March) premiers. The film is deemed as Balakrishna's biggest hit in the US.
The film has earned ₹17.2 crore share at the worldwide box office.
With Monday (31 March) being Ugadi holiday, "Legend" is expected to score well and post a good 4-day total.
"Legend" Tour

Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, "Legend" is a masala entertainer with all the commercial elements that a Balayya fan would expect in his films.
While Balakrishna appears in a dual role in the film, it also has Sonal Chauhan, Radhika Apte, Brahmanandam and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.
