Kerala, who have done pretty well in this year's CCL, will be taking on reigning champions Karnataka in the final. The Strikers, owned by Malayalam actor Mohanlal and Lissy Priyadarshan, have won three league matches in CCL 4, while the fourth match was abandoned due to bad weather. They had taken the second spot in the points table, having scored seven points and earning a net run rate of 0.267.
Kerala took on Bhojpuri Dabanggs in the semifinals and won the match by eight wickets. The team, led by Rajeev Pillai, is expected to give some tough competition to the Bulldozers in the finals.
Karnataka, on the other hand, is looking forward to winning the trophy this year as well. The Bulldozers have been performing well in the last few years, and team has entered the finals for the fourth time. The Bulldozers were in the top spot in the points table, having scored seven points and boasting a net run rate of 1.805.
