Mumbai-based technology firm iBall has launched a budget Android tablet called Slide 3G 7271 HD7 in India.
Commenting on the launch, iBall, Director, Sandeep Parasrampuria said, "We have always believed in catering to the needs our users and based on the feedback and changing needs we have pleasure in presenting this upgraded version to our presently very popular 3G7271 Tablet. It comes with almost 8 new differentiators to thrill the users in this segment."
As the name suggests iBall Slide 3G 7271 HD7 sports a 7-inch HD (1024x600p) capacitive screen and runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
Under the hood, it packs ARM-based Cortex A7 Dual-core processor paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB). The tablet also boasts of 3G voice-calling feature, dual-SIM slots, 2.0-megapixel main camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.
The company has priced Slide 3G 7271 HD7 at ₹8,999 [MRP], but prospective buyers can also avail this device for ₹8,290 at the eBay India online store. The new tablet will compete with local rivals such as HCL ME Connect, Karbonn Smart Ta Fone A37, BSNL Penta WS707C, Swipe MTV Slash Tablet and MNC branded Lenovo Idea Tab A1000.
