S Mobility, an integral part of the Spice Global Group, has released a budget phablet called Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 in India.
The new handset sports a 5.5-inch TFT LCD display with HD (1280x720p) resolution and comes with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, the device has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB), 2500 mAh battery and support for Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi and micro-USB. Its features an 8.0-megapixel rear camera and a 2.0-megapixel snapper on the front. The main camera has auto-focus, dual-LED flash support, and has support for full HD (1920x1080p) video recording.
Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 is currently available at online store Saholic for ₹15,499. Considering its specifications and price factor, the phablet will be pitted against local players like Micromax's flagship devices Canvas 4 and Doodle 2, Karbonn Titanium S9, Intex Aqua i7, iBall Andi4a Projector as well as Galaxy Grand Duos from MNC player Samsung.
