SmartNaMo, Narendra Modi Branded 'Saffron Series' handsets have been put up for sale on an online store in India.
Two months ago, Namo (Narendra Modi and Next Generation Android Mobile Odyssey) owned by a group of Gujarati business men claiming to be fans of BJP Prime Ministerial candidate had revealed their plans to launch the smartphones series SmartNamo. Two devices - one 5.0-inch smartphone 'Saffron One' and another 6.5-inch size handset 'Saffron Two' have finally hit the market.
SmartNaMo Saffron One sports 5.0-inch full HD (1920x1080) IPS display and comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 screen shield.
Under the hood, it packs 1.5GHz MediaTek quad-core processor powered by 3150 mAh battery and runs on Android v4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS. Saffron One comes in two variants - one 16 GB model with 1GB RAM and another 32GB model with 2GB RAM.
On the other hand, SmartNaMo Saffron Two flaunts a monster 6.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) IPS screen with pixel density of 441 ppi (pixels per inch). Apart from bigger display, it features pretty much same internal hardware as well as camera specifications.
