It would be a grand treat for NTR's fans, as the teaser has been released to coincide with the actor's birthday (20 May). He turns 30.
Jr NTR was born as Nandamuri Taraka Ram to Telugu film actor and politician Nandamuri Harikrishna and his second wife Nandamuri Shalini. He is the grandson of Telugu superstar and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who named his grandson after him.
Jr NTR, popularly known as the young tiger of Telugu cinema, began his acting career as a child artiste in "Brahmarshi Viswamitra", directed by his grandfather. As a child actor, NTR appeared in his first full length role of Lord Rama in the 1997 release "Bala Ramayanam".
The actor later starred in "Ninnu Choodalani" (2001), which turned out to be a box office disaster. Subsequently in the same year, the actor had his major hit in "Student No.1" directed by S S Rajamouli. Following this, he acted in several films with some of them becoming blockbusters.
The actor had a bad year in 2011 and 2012, when all three of his releases - "Shakti", "Oosaravelli" and "Dammu", failed to appease his fans. But the actor's latest flick "Baadshah" has silenced the critics by doing good business in India as well as overseas. The film reportedly fetched more than ₹56 crore worldwide in four weeks of its release and became the biggest blockbuster in the history of his career.
Now, expectations have soared for the actor's upcoming project, "Ramayya Vastavayya", as he has teamed with the successful commercial director - Harish Shankar. Produced by Dil Raju, "Ramayya Vastavayya" is expected to hit the theatres on 9 August.
