We did report that Thomas Tuchel could possibly be coming aboard Arsenal FC as Arsene Wenger's replacement, but truth be told, that's not happening. Reason? You guessed it right. Separating Wenger from Arsenal is just too difficult a step for the club's board of directors.
An official decision from the club is set for Wednesday May 31, but the picture has gotten crystal clear by Tuesday evening itself. Wenger has agreed on a two-year extension with the club, following discussions with Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke.
Good or bad news for Arsenal fans? We leave it to the comments section below.
The Gunners have indeed found it a little bit too difficult to find a replacement for Mr. FA Cup and Kroenke has finally realised that it is none but the Frenchman who can take the club from nadir to zenith and vice-versa, as has been the order of things for the last 21 years.
List of trophies Arsenal can win next season
- FA Community Shield
- FA Cup
- League Cup
- Premier League
- Europa League
Big question now: Can Arsene Wenger finally make this summer the biggest for Arsenal in terms of players bought?
Or, can the stubborn nature once again take the better of the professor, who knows it all about the game!
Is Piers Morgan happy?
Well, he definitely needs some peace of mind now after losing his piece of mind!
If true, a scandalous reward for 13yrs of Premier League & 20yrs of Champions League failure. https://t.co/ZgumgexRJf

Arsene Wenger was the greatest manager I've ever seen at Arsenal. Now he's the butt of rival fan jokes yet signs a new £20m deal. Pathetic.
