Anderlecht midfield prodigy Dennis Praet is open to the idea of joining Arsenal or Liverpool in the near future, according to the player's agent.
The 20-year-old has earned a name for himself in Europe, after impressing with his performances for the Belgian champions over the last two years. The playmaker has caught the eye of several big clubs, especially with his displays in the Champions League this season.
Praet's representative Jacques Lichtenstein has now revealed that both the Gunners and the Reds are keeping tabs on Praet, with a view to make an approach sometime soon, while La Liga outfits Atletico Madrid and Valencia also hold an interest.
The agent confirmed that the Belgium international would now consider a move away from his homeland to a tougher and more popular league but insisted that the youngster would not make a hasty decision on his future.
"Dennis will not go just anywhere. Clubs like Valencia, Liverpool, Arsenal or Atletico Madrid are eligible, not Dinamo Kiev (who have been linked with the midfielder). He is not so far from the level of a club like Arsenal, where they can give him a year adjustment period," Goal quoted Lichtenstein as saying.
"What more can he gain by spending one more campaign at Anderlecht after contributing to three back-to-back titles? But I will never push a player in the direction of a transfer. You make a career of 20 years with the vision for the long term."
Praet, who made his senior international debut for Belgium against Iceland last week, is contracted to Anderlecht till 2017.
Meanwhile, Juventus forward and purported Arsenal target Sebastian Giovinco has stated that he would not leave the Bianconeri in the January transfer window.
The Italy international has started just two matches in all competitions for the Old Lady this season, and has been constantly linked with a move to the Gunners or their north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Giovinco's contract with Juventus is set to expire at the end of the season, and the player has now revealed that he is more likely to leave the club as a free agent next summer, than push for a transfer in January.
"I don't think I will move in January. We will see what happens in June," the 27-year-old stressed.
