Premier League giants Arsenal have once again identified highly-rated PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot as their top target for the January transfer window, French magazine France Football have reported.
The Gunners, as well as their rivals Tottenham Hotspur, have been following the three-time Ligue 1 winner closely for some seasons, and now Arsene Wenger is more than determined to land him at the Emirates.
Rabiot, 20, is a no-nonsense defensive midfielder, who is equally good going into attack. The French champions are desperate to hold on to him, and the player's contract at the Stade de France runs until the summer of 2019.
PSG also will have no intention of selling the player who is seen as a key for them going into many seasons to come.
The Gunners, thus, know now that only an audacious offer can lure the player to leave PSG.
The Frenchman has been a part of the Paris outfit since 2010, when he started out as a youth player. He has 94 appearances for the club, and has a total of eight goals and two assists.
Arsenal are currently going through an injury crisis with midfielders Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosiscky, Mikel Arteta and Santi Cazorla all facing spells on the sidelines. Rabiot can turn out to be a real good emergency addition for Wenger's side, going into the second half of the season.
