Arsenal have officially confirmed the capture of Krystian Bielik from Polish side Legia Warsaw for an undisclosed transfer fee.
The Polish youth international, who has been dubbed as the "new Patrick Vieira", had attracted the interests of a lot of clubs following his impressive performances for Legia Warsaw this season.
The Gunners, who had been keen on beating other sides to the youngster's signature, had earlier made two bids for Bielik, but the Polish side had rejected both the offers.
However, now Arsenal seem to have met Legia Warsaw's demands as the teenager has successfully completed a move to North London, although the Gunners confirmed that the deal is still "subject to the completion of regulatory processes."
"Arsenal have completed the signing of 17-year-old midfielder Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw for an undisclosed fee," read a statement in the club's official website. The deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes."

The versatile Bielik, who is capable of playing as a holding midfielder as well as a centre-back, earlier expressed his happiness at having successfully agreed to move to Arsenal.
"I've decided to move to Arsenal and, although I cannot be sure of what's to come in the future, I'm going to London to fulfil my dreams," said the Pole, according to ESPN, before flying to England.
The 17-year-old also thanked the development director, manager and his teammates at Legia Warsaw for helping him during his time at the Polish club.
"I felt at home in Warsaw and I will always have fond memories of the time I spent in Legia," he added. "Dominik Ebebenge, the development director, was always a huge help for me and I cannot find words to describe my gratitude towards him.
"I'm also grateful to my teammates and manager Henning Berg for trusting such a young player and giving me a chance to play for the first team. It's mostly thanks to him that I'm able to move to Arsenal."
Arsenal will certainly be delighted with the capture of Bielik as the youngster is tipped to be a star in the future, having done so well at Legia Warsaw since his arrival from Lech Poznań last summer.
