Fans of The CW supernatural series "Arrow" can get ready to watch some action packed sequences in the premiere episode of season 4 titled "Green Arrow". It will not just introduce Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) in his new costume but also the new villain, Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough).
The first episode, which will be telecasted on Wednesday, 7 October, is likely to revolve around the various challenges faced by the protagonist and Team Arrow.
The sequel will apparently begin by showing Amell's character struggling to lead a normal life away from his close friends and Starling City. Simultaneously, it will also show Thea Queen (Willa Holland) and Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) trying to figure out various ways to protect the city from the villains.
But things will take an unexpected turn after an indirect introduction of the new villain Darhk as showrunner Marc Guggenheim recently teased that he is different from other big bads in the show.
"He's very different from our previous Big Bads in that he's not hiding in the shadows. But at the same time, he doesn't have a public persona. He shows up at a very public meeting that Lance is present at. If Darhk wants to show up somewhere, he's certainly going to!" TV Line quoted him as saying.
So unlike other evil characters, McDonough's character is expected to have a strong presence in the show. His entry will reportedly have a negative impact on the romantic relationship between the hooded vigilante and his lady love Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards).
However, followers of The CW supernatural series may not get to watch an encounter between Oliver and Darhk in the premiere episode of "Arrow" season 4 titled "Green Arrow", which will telecast on Wednesday, 7 October, at 8pm.
